    Hi Ryan,

The meeting went really well. Sasha was a great hit, so much so we cancelled the other presentations planned and just let her keep the floor as the audience was having such a good time getting lots of great information.

Curently we advertise on a couple of forums and through our WAIP group fanpage on Facebook.
    Website being developed…….

Hi tonlinfante, our next meeting is on Wed 14th April. If you would like to attend you can reply here.

I’ll be posting the details in another week or so.
Hope you will be able to come along.

Has anyone asked what the tenant thinks would be an acceptable solution? You are thinking A/C. A couple of electric fans might be what he expecting.
I would go back to the PM and get more feedback from the tenant

    Hi Lucky,

I believe that there are now some property investing courses run by Tafe, but not available in every State, so it would be worth while investigating that line a bit further.

There is also Steve McKnight RESULTS programme which runs for 12 months, teaches you a heap about realestate and mind set and has no associated hype or sales.

    It isn’t for everyone and
It aint cheap, but for a 12 month programme I think excellent value for money.
No, I’m not a family member or a PI.com emplyee, but I did do the programme. It made the difference for me to go from someone who was interested in property investing to it becoming a business.

    Hello Loanwolf

    Welcome to Perth.
Our next meeting will be on Wed 26th March at the same venue as above.

We will send out a reminder closer to the time.

If you would like to send me an email then I can add your details to our mail out list

We look forward to meeting you in March.

The group is quite informal and the focus is on sharing and learning information relevant to property investing and net working with like minded individuals. It’s usually a lot of fun.

Thanks for your comments Phil, they are much appreciated. I think that because we may need to inject further money this is why the accountant is suggesting we consider changing structures.

Hi Terry, it is all rather confusing.

The main difference that I can see is that Money contributed by either party in a Unit trust is converted to Unit shares. In a partnership of trusts funds contributed remains just that.I’m still none the wiser as to why he wants us to change structure and of course this would incur further costs.
    Wishing you a Happy Christmas

    Hi

I would reiterate what Steve said about not placing yourself in financial stress.
As someone who has done the RESULTS programme I met a number of people on the programme who had serious doubts about outlaying the money for the course. i don't think I came across anyone who felt they had been diddled in any shape or form.
The programme is not about hype.
It is not a get rich quick scheme.
It provides a framework for self development and learning which then enables the individual to learn how to make better investment decisions.
Steve and his team are honest, hard working ordinary guys who happen to know an incredible amount about property investing. The cost is to provide you with the opportunity to tap into an extraordinary anount of expertise and with the amount of material provided over 12 months the daily cost becomes less relevant
There were those who had outstanding results from their time on the programme and there were those that fell by the wayside. Either because it wasn't for them or they weren't ready to make the commitment and develop the resilience and determination to make things work for them. The amount of money that folks started with was (in my opinion) irrelevant to their outcome from the programme.
If you expect to be spoon fed  and wake up at the end of 12 months with lots of money, then you are looking at the wrong programme.
    All the best
