    well you’ll be happy to know that there are other people here in tas and yes it is a bit harder but as steve says you just need to be creative.

    we have purchased some land and putting 2 x transportable homes on it.
    just to sell them and have a good turnover. land prices are going down at the moment in southern tas so we’ll prob get something more soon

    when looking for a builder make sure to check out previous properties they’ve built & talk to the owners as you don’t want to be waiting 12 months for a property to be build when it should have only taken 3 months !.

    timber is easier to work with and definatly cheaper in Tas. not sure about anywhere else.

    we need to learn from our mistakes and take advantage of something when we’re there. we can’t turn back time . maybe as steve says we have to create an answer to a problem

    When we sold our last property we asked several agents to come through and give us a quote, most of them did up a nice folder for us with all the right wording, even some took photos, they wanted our business.
    use this to your advantage and when they phone back to ask how your going say you went with someone else.
    also you can get helpful packages from “for sale by owner” copanies for a very small outlay.
