I would hunt them down regardless of whether the loss was small or large.  It's the principal of the thing as well as the loss, and if too many people let such things slide, perhaps agents would be more likely to try to get away with it more often.  Zero tolerance.  It's essentially theft.

Have you tried mezzanine finance?

Often these student apartmnets are less than 50m2 and most banks won't finance them.  So hard to onsell.  These really come in the same bucket as serviced apartments.  Search this forum for serviced apartments and you will see why there is little or no capital growth

Hey firstinvestment24 you really need to meet some other people that are investing.  Having your broker as your only investing friend isn't ideal.  Seriously look at going to a few APN meetings and making some brand new buddies.  Where are you located?

ps do you really care if your tenants get a view of the river or not…. if the difference is a financial burden on your shoulders?  if a property without a view of the casino/river can stand on it's own too feet and the other cannot, you need to give that some serious thought
