Hi Word, welcome to the forum. For your price range I’d suggest you need to ask agents for their problem properties, the ones that need work etc..and look at ways you can turn them into something useful.

Find problems and offer solutions = $$$

I’ve arrived a LOC here to use for purchasing in NZ, the LOC is secured against Aus properties. I’m hoping to use it for deposits in NZ and then borrow locally there for the balance, that way it will go further – so Castle Dreamer and others I may be looking for contacts for financing up to 80% in NZ soon. My bank also said they would take the rental income into account from NZ but not the property as they can’t put a mortgage on it.

Thanks Castle Dreamer, I think placing it in an NZ bank account and transfering it to Aus every few months appears the way to go. Shame we just can’t do a bank transfer like Net Banking.

    Well said CastleDreamer.

Like Steve said, let’s wait til September and see how those staying in the MAP went.

Any other discussion on the topic at this point in time is fruitless.

All well said Mini. I was disappointed with the Medai Watch story because I’ve met Steve at one of his seminars and more importantly I’ve met some of the MAP people. All the ones I spoke to said Steve gives them goals to do and achieve by the end of the month etc..and it isn’t necesarily easy but if they are going to get somewhere hard work is required. I think the people portrayed on Media Watch were some of the ones who wouldn’t do the work. To lump Steve in with another story on Henry Kaye was very unfair of Media Watch, and I look forward to some sort of retraction when the successful MAPs are revealed.

I bought for under market value so the rest of the numbers fall in place ok. My aim this year is two more, which is not many compared to some on this web-site but I think as long as you keep going forward and looking for opportunities then things work out.

Must say I’m very impressed with the info contributed by others like Bear1964, Still in School, Mini Mogul et al, they all post great stuff on the site.

Can I also add that as far as paying the money for the seminar…it’s good value if you act on what you learn, it’s poor value if you are one of the 95% who leave and do nothing.

    Simple as that !

Yes, bought my second IP and looking at others now…I think it’s a momentum thing, you have to keep going.

    Well said Steve.

I think we all need to keep the big picture in mind and think of what we are trying to achieve before committing to seminars, buying books and listening to radio programs about property.

Review your goals, write them down and go for it by taking action. It’s easy to be negative. I found the seminar last November very useful. For me the best reinforcement was meeting others in the same position as me who have decided to build a future on property and to see they are just ordinary people like myself – yet they are achieving it.

    Hi Guys,

You’re talking about the Novarg/Mydoom virus. There’s usually a free fix for most viruses shortly after they are released on many of the Anti-Virus sites.

If you go to http://www.symantec.com.au, go to downloads and follow through there you will be able to put a floppy disk in your A drive to download and run the fix, alternatively just run it from the site.

Most Anti-virus companies now have the update in their system now.
