									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>From reading Steve&#8217;s books it seems that some of the deals were done on a $1000 upfront and nothing for 12 months?! (12 month settlement period with access to the property). Am I reading this right? <img src="/wp-content/uploads/smileys/smile.gif?x75824" width="" height="" alt=":)" title=":)" class="bbcode_smiley" /></p>
<p>Would anyone without Steve&#8217;s history be able to secure such a deal? even at the asking sale price?</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I agree. I know of a property that was sold for $290 (before stamp duty) and is now fetching $400 a week in rental return. This is an appartment in a CBD area.</p>
<p>Obviously it&#8217;s not +ve geared, but it&#8217;s not far off it. This property was not advertised online. The agent simply dropped brochures around and sat on it for a while.</p>
