    You are right It’s a throat slashing frenzy although it’s all a business transaction and if it wasn’t the bank it would be some other money supplier.

    It’s just the supply and demand theory again, and money is in demand..

    Grrreat,

    Went to Canberra on the weekend, sure is cold at night over there.. grrrrr..

    Looks like dates are in place and it’s a good month away so plenty of time to discuss what people would like to hear on the meeting and if any specialists in finance, accountants or conveyancing are needed at all as yet??

    Not that far although there are alot of things that need to be analysed first.. like how much negative are you comfortable with which will also determine the type of property you should look into..

    Depends on a heap of stuff, your income, the property, new or old, deprciation items ect… alot to to take into account..

    Ok, both strtegies are correct although, I’m swinging more towards going with the wave not fighting it and would say WA is a great place to invest and worth looking into.

    We have put together LGA Reports on Rockingham and other areas which look very promising..

    I used to like dealing with banks as well, although to take the heart-ache out of things it’s worth getting a non bank lender like LB suggested..

    I’d say, yes it’s low to degrade the guy whilst it it actually costing him money to have this site up, it’s like goin into someones home and swearing at him everyday and then leaving again.

    Every business man is at least entitled to offer his products and services to his clients/guests and they in turn they are entitled to say yes or no to it, but there is no need to be rude, really..

    Sorry but things like that are annoying, luckely as Simon said it’s not so bad..

    Perfect thoughts there, I agree with Matt on Ipswich we just sold out there and the buyers made $30k in no time. We are doing the same with Logan City now..

    It all really depends on your particular situation, we network with financiers, solicitors and accountants that can help you if thats what you want.

    You seem to be in a great position to invest, although with the high income between yourself & partner a positive cashflow property may not be your best option, we are focusing on Qld & WA for investment oppurtunities and only a some in NSW, there are many options to look into.

    For properties we have in logan, the local agent said will charge us and our clients 7%, I think thats more like it, similar to Sydney..

    Great stuff,

    Well I’m greatful to hear mainly positives and no real negatives.

    As for location, I agree we got a bit squeezed up with all the numbers although I thought it was very cosy.. You are most welcome to use it again..

    Petersham RSL is not a bad idea.. We have actually booked Gladesville RSL for a Qld Project Launch for our clients & associates end of this month and the room cost us less than a hundred dollars.. So we can do that & chip in towards it if Petersham dosen’t workout for whatever reason.

    I agree with the agenda and differrent topics to suite different people, and I’m able to organise guest speakers for Free like Accountants, Financiers, Solicitors and Conveyancers to attend the meeting and share their views on topics of interest.

    I guess we should make sure Petersham RSL is ok to be used and what date?

    Get a vote on topics and guest speakers required and I’ll arrange it.

    It certainly feels like we really know each other now that we have actually met.

    I have a few ideas for the next meeting, if everyone is interested in a next meeting but firstly, what’s everyone’s thoughts on the get together.
