    Hi,

When I perform credit checks on people here in Oz I always do a NZ check if the person applying has been in Australia less than 12 months, as for NZ -I am not sure if vice versa applies?
When a check is performed, the financier can see how many defults, judgements, enquiries, cross references and possible matches you have.
Also bankrutcy & part 9’s ( debtors agreement) shows up and if you have defults it tells the financier if you have a paid defult, had a payment defult or if you have cleared out on the loan alltogether ( clearouts look really bad)[hmm].

    Hi

Laura – I am the only person who uses my computer, so I know that I haven’t been searching for ” Butts or Boobs” – unless I sleep search[:D].
The problem has only really arised since I downloaded that patch from Microsoft a few weeks ago, you know when they said there was a glitch in their windows operating systems.[:(] It might just be coincedence, who knows?[?]

    Hi,

    You could try these sites:

    http://www.owner.com.au
    http://www.mypropertyforsale.com.au
    http://www.fsbo.com.au

With first two, it is free to list your property on their site.

    Good luck &
    Cheers

    Hi

The guy who invented the “Triton workbench” has a website – (called – I think this is right) – The Triton Foundation, if that shows to be incorrect just try a search on The Triton workbench, this guy has set up a foundation to help fellow Aussie’s with their invention and patents, getting grants to fund your invention and info on manufacturers.
Also there are solicitors out there who specialise in patents and trade marks.

    Hope this helps[:D]

    Cheers

    Hi,

    – Chan$$ – My son and I are always arguing ( in a joking way of course) who is better Jackie or Jet?

I’d have to say Jet[:D] He is pretty flash and not to hard on the eyes[:X]. “Romeo must die” is my favourite.

Do you know who the guy is that played Bruce Lee in ( I think it’s called) “Return of the Dragon” ?

    Hi,

Pisces, sex sites are the last thing on my mind ( Honestly) [:p], but I think I might of got some sort of spyware from those free games sites, I visit them on occassions and as for Viagra, I dont know what it’s like personally, It might be the best thing since sliced bread for people who use it, but after working 10 – 14 hr days the last thing I want to see when checking out my emails is viagra, maybe when I reach 50 or more – then it might be a different story, I will probably hang out for (female equivalent)of Viagra emails[:X][:p]

    – Chan are you having the same probs ?

Also Chan I saw your pic, looks good[:)], my nine year old son just happened to be walking by and also saw your pic and said ” look mum – Jackie Chan in a cowboy hat [:p], – Jackie Chan is my sons’s hero[:D]

Anyway thanks for the suggestions everyone, I give them a whirl and see what happens.

    Cheers

    Hi,
I agree with Terryw, you would be amazed at what lenghts people go to , to try and fudge their details when applying for credit.
I work in vehicle finance and I do anywhere from five to twenty credit checks a day and quite often people will have possible matches and cross references, this can be because they are trying to do a dodgy or that a previous financier may have entered their details incorrectly,It is fairly easy though to tell that even with other matches etc that the people are one and they same.

Hi, I lived in Logan for 18 years, I would personally only buy a ppor in areas of Logan such as : Springwood, Rochedale, underwood, Cornubia, parts of Daisy Hill, Shailer park, Tanah Merah, Logalholme / Logandale, Kimberly Park, Maquarie Park etc.
But it would be quite hard to find a property in these areas for around 200k – maybe a unit though[:I]
Just check with the local agents[:)]
    Hope this helps

Hi, I agree with georgisj totally !!!
The Yatala area is growing very rapidly, with alot more
major companies setting up there who also export overseas.

I would have to strongly disagree with thefirstbruce – stating that the area has predominately “unskilled labour”. This might have been the case ten years or so ago, but the property prices have gone through the roof & the so called unskilled labour are moving away from the area as it is getting out of their price range. You will also find that the MAJORITY of residents in this area work in Brisbane or down the Coast. I know over a dozen couples and families who reside in Beenleigh, Coomera and surrounds and they are all professionals not one fits into the so called “unskilled labour” catergory, the reason they reside there is simple ! They don’t like the hussle and bussle of the city and like to be away from it all.
I know of couple who bought in Beenleigh two years ago and have just sold their property for triple what they paid for it – they are laughing all the way to the bank[:D][:D]. I think things may slow a little as with other areas within SEQ and other parts of OZ .
But honestly if you invested in the corridor you would definately come up a winner[:D]

    Hi,

I asked a similar question to this a few weeks ago.

I was looking a permanent van that was is in a coastal area caravan village with a permanent tenant, the figures weren’t bad but the BIG NO NO for me was pointed out to me by other members on this forum, that being in a park, the owners of the park could sell the land and if the home was not able to be moved, I would lose out[:(]

    Hi Markpatric,

I know what your saying about options, my problem is that I am not to sure on what options I have and what the pros and cons of these options are?

I just thought that my current place might have been good as an IP as I paid well under a $100k for it and its now valued @$220k or there abouts.[?]
And as you said IP’s are alot more expensive now !!

Hi, WOW Deception Bay must have changed a fair bit !!

We used to call it Degenerate Bay[:p]
People could just about give their houses away !!!

Good to see that you are doing well from it[^]

If the council spruce up the foreshore, that will be a great plus for the area and for people like yourself [:D]
    GOOD LUCK[:)]
