Gee , for us so called oldies ,remember what the rates were in the 80's. up to 18% , no this could sort some of us out including me.
Hope the rates stay around 7 or less.

     Hi
I have 3 IP properties  ,2 R located within a couple of Kms of where I live. I handle these. The other one is 200 kms away so I have a PM to handle this one. U R right ,a leaking tap and the PM engages a plumber ($ 90.00 to fix) ,where as if I was closer I would have replaced the washer.
    The choice is yours.
     cheers.

Try to engage a sparky and or plumber who have just commenced in business themselves. They R trying to get a business going so there prices would b O/K. I have no trouble with mine ,Young fellow going out by himself.

Don't forget U have to pay CGT. This will eat into your profits, I'd hold & use the equity to purchase others.
    Good luck, Keep us informed

On all deals I am involved in I have it written in the contract that if the ATO deems that there is GST  payable then the purchaser is liable to pay to me that sum of money. I'm registered for GST. I don't lose which ever way it goes.
