you need to decide which property you want to have the main dwelling capital gains tax exemption. As you can have the original property as your main dwelling for 6 years after you stop living in it. I have seen a shower in a holiday house I stayed in that has a deeper base so it acts as a shower but also can act as a shallow bath for young children.Don't know where you get a shower like this though. Other possiblity is a shower in a bigger bath.
