Your rude and arrogant response shows your lack of maturity and inexperience. I can just imagine the childish tantrum you threw when you saw what he did. Wait till you see who the real ‘idiot’ is here.
“Would you pay for something without knowing the price?”
OK, here is a little nugget for you.

was this work quoted?
if you hired him and paid him by the hour, be grateful he didnt clean up the mess. Know any cleaners who charge $65 an hour? I dont.
‘dodgey’ should be reserved for tradesmen who do illegal or dangerous work. making a mess is what tradesmen do.
I suspect your lack of experience is partly the problem. Who in their right…[Read more]

wasted rent?
whats that?
If a property is owned, it has a rental return. Whether you rent it from yourself or to someone else, it is still an asset producing a return. That is unless you think you can live in a cardboard box.
It is a common misconception that ‘rent money is dead money’. Is an interest only loan dead money…[Read more]

I have emailed the ‘PM’ and said we know what our rights are, we are moving on the 9th and thats that.
The RTA said they dont have a leg to stand on.
If I were a landlord and I knew the PM was doing this I would not be pleased. Some tenants might get angry and just decide to stop paying rent….then I am sure the PM would get…[Read more]

a while ago we told them we didnt want to sign a new lease because we were looking to buy, they seemed ok with it.
I have been told that giving 8 days notice is a fineable offense (suppose to give 2 months notice), as is evicting for not signing a new lease.

what humour?
a bunch of money-hungry and obviously obsessed individuals discussing ways to “take” during the season of giving……some of the replies were slightly humerous but the overall tone of the thread was serious and dont insult our intelligence by suggesting it was all a big joke.

money has but ONE use. TO BE SPENT.
At what point do you stop being tight, and start enjoying the money? When you die? You gonna take it with you maybe? lol

“You write calls on your stock if your long term bullish and short term bearish.”
That would then mean that you would only write calls when the stock is “high” by some measure. Why own a stock at all if you are bearish, regardless of the timeframe?

there should be no confusion, unless you dont know the difference between a qualification and a licence. As it CLEARLY states, I am qualified but not licenced, which is why I dont offer any advice, simply educational material (which requires no licence). An interesting discussion.
A margin loan is a relatively inefficient vehicle for leverage these days. Instalment warrants, CFDs and LEPOs offer far greater leverage. The choice of derivatives available nowadays means the traditional concept of buying FPOs (fully paid ordinary) is a little like having the equity in your home sitting idle.
