Is there stuff you can claim for where you don&#8217;t need to provide a receipts like a set amount and you can&#8217;t go higher than that unless you have receipts&#8230;..??</p>

<p>The longer you wait the harder it is going to be to get into the market. I was in your situation in Sep last year and I got in just in time for the area I bought. I also had 15k deposit but by using the FOG you can borrow more or see if you can get away with out paying LMI. You might lose the 7 FOHG but I have heard some people say that you are better off not taking the first home owners grant and I just can&#8217;t remember what the reasons were&#8230;maybe someone can give me a hand here.<br />

Well the unit was originally painted in yellow&#8230;very yuck. All the rooms are painted white now. I regrouted the tiles in the shower and around the basin it&#8217;s all nice and white now.
