    Thank you for steering me in the right direction. I have heard a few horror stories regarding lazy PM's and didn't really know how to go about weeding the good from the bad. I'll check out that book too.  Thanks for the tips.

    When searching for our property we would walk to the nearest shopping centre, train station etc taking note of the quality and care of properties in the street, cleanliness of shopping centre etc to ensure that it would attract future tenants. We also looked for easy access to  parks, schools and proximity to the CBD. We only did this for the ones that we were really interested in after our initial visit. You can see so much more if you walk around the area before committing to the property.

    We are new to IP and have just purchased a property in Brunswick. We are not impressed with the agent we dealt with when we purchased so will be looking for a Property Manager. Could Eslan please send the info on to us or can anyone else recommend  a good PM for Brunswick? Thanks in anticipation.
