There are a lot of new properties being developed and sold in Park Ridge which pushes up the median sales price but that doesn&#8217;t mean that all folk achieved 18% growth on their properties in Park Ridge.</p>

<p>Best of both worlds in Brisbane at the moment  &#8211; i.e. around 5% yield on good blocks where value can be added.</p>
<p>There is a looming oversupply of units around Brisbane city so avoid those.</p>
<p>We have been buying houses in Brisbane from $300k upwards.. </p>

I can&#039;t see rates moving up for at least another 6 months. Unless you absolutely need the certainty right now, I would stay variable for a couple of months more. Most lenders allow you to fix at any time. (some charge a small fee).</p>
