hi smj, am interested in reading the book but feel that it might just confuse me and really cement my relative poverty..does the book have any advice on purchasing property when you have debts??

thanks scott..my only concern is that i will end up having a small part of my room uncarpeted (around the doorway and probably around the window frame) and it may end up looking odd..but i agree that laying the carpet on the tiles would be the most efficient way to go..

thanks guys. i'm not sure if it's comfort plus tools.my frames are all wooden and some places that i have rang only deal with aluminium frames.all i do know is that this will be one very costly exercise

the glass that insulates against the cold and heat.my house is going to get incredibly hot during summer due to the windows, and lose a lot of heat in the winter.i read in the paper that the new pilkington glass has some type of thermal protection.  i'm sure that there would be other types too, i'm just unaware of them.

From any experience I have had with brokers, I have found them to be frustrating and condescending.Buyers frustrations are valid and real and brokers really need to be more in tune with these frustrations and fears.I really wish more brokers took into account the buyers fears and frustrations, instead of procrastinating.

i wouldn't  call a good coffee an 'unnecessary expense'!!vital to my life.. i probably spend around $20 per day on good coffee.. let alone just spending a small fortune on a coffee machine.. coffee beans are around $48 per kg too..add good quality italian hot chocolate to that too..

  • raddles, i spoke with my new solicitor today.. they (the two of them) found 4 faults with the contract and have placed an objection to the release of the deposit..the world is so much nicer when you are surrounded by competent ppl!!btw, i refused to pay the first solicitor because of the myriad of mistakes he made – he agreed to no payment..thanks…[Read more]
