    He can't think of any yet…..    AMP's interest only investor oriented loan is OK, maybe with a fixed interest for 5 years below 7%.

    Hi guys, can we have Perth in the discussion again? Every week has a different feel here in W.A. Is a 500k home in a southern suburb [Baldivis] that will rent for $300 pw at 90% lend bad investing? Should’t the growth rate now steady to 8%pa?

    Great to read everyone’s viewpoint on the interest rate rise–it helps me to form a balanced opinion.Is there anyone out there game enough to come up with a bold This-is-what-will-happen type prediction? Please have a go.I believe the high-consuming 350 million -and growing- middle class in China, will keep our cogs oiled for a long time yet-especially here in W.A.

    It is certainly past time to stop blind-faith investing in our cities.Consistency is the last refuge of the unimaginative!Kambalda’s low cost housing and positive gearing potential are looking very attractive.The only movement here has got to be up.An engineer in Kalgoorlie recently said -“if you think the Nickel price is high now , just wait till 2-3 years!!
