Millions,You seem quite an expert on poo – you must have too much time on your hands (hopefully not too much poo on your hands!)!

you have reminded me of a tale about a mate of mine. He had been to the local RSL for a few beers on a Sunday night. He deserved it, it was mid January & he had been working hard in the back yard. Needless to say it didn’t take many beers for the leg bones to turn to rubber!
Next day I picked him up for work. Had to bang hard on the…[Read more]

Don’t worry about getting on a bit of a soapbox session about smokers in properties. I smoke & at one stage gave up for a while – went to a mate’s house where he & his mates that lived there (4 in total) all smoked. Holy hell!!! What a stink! Since then I’ve never smoked inside a house or hotel room. I have a “no smoking” clause in the…[Read more]

    Hi Regan,
I’m a conservative type of thinker – if it were me I would buy a PPOR (Primary Place Of Residence) first, when that is paid for I would start investing.
Other (probably most other) people who regularly visit this site will tell you I’m talking &¤#”&%¤# and tell you to invest first.
What you must do is a huge amount of research to fin…[Read more]

    Ali G,
Your credit card limit alters your borrowing power.
    Example:
You have a disposable income of $500.00 per month.
You also have a credit card that – when maxed out – has a minimum repayment of $100.00 per month.
The bank will only loan you money based on $400.00 per month to make sure you can afford their repayments. A lender will always look…[Read more]

    Kay,
Sorry, just another thought, you come across as an upstanding community pillar type (terribly proper – without being rude), why don’t you have a capital K & H?

This is the sort of thing I mean. And yes I think geo is also correct in that a family member could be considered as a hero(ine). I just wondered if all athletes in Athens are heroic because they are there.

    Sheer politeness & manners!
I met the (now) wife on the back deck of a dive boat in Qld. My first day of work, I showed up early to see a girl (with huge attributes!!) appear from a hatch in the deck, she was wearing only a T-shirt. The first words she uttered to me were “What the f#¤%&@g hell are you doing here?”. I was bowled over! Charm, f…[Read more]

    Tip:-
Keep details of all your financial transactions on your home computer (yes home stuff like kids clothes, groceries, dinner out etc. as well). This helps you track not only IP performance, but highlight areas of personal spending you may not be aware of or not like. Therefore save you money, which you can then invest!

    Hi
This is an idea I have been tossing around for a while, at the moment I only have 1 IP but I think it should work for multiple properties.
I assume you have separate loan accts for each IP. Each month, put a proportion of your rent(say 5%) into a savings acct (or better still an offset acct of some sort)by automatic transfer. That way you don’t…[Read more]

    Hi Newgen
I’m saddened to hear your tale of woe. I’m trying not to state the obvious here or cause any further upset so please bear with me.
I can offer no thing but sympathy about the wallet. I lost mine on a river boat in the UK. Well not actually “in” the boat. I may have consumed one too many ales and lost my balance! When I climbed back on to…[Read more]

Did you see the bit in today’s Herald Sun?
Webbers team mate will be Jensen Button who said he(Button) thought Webber was second only to Schu in skill! Will Mark do an Alan Jones with Williams? Hope so. Couldn’t be any better for me as a pom living in Oz.
