    Hi Anthony,

I am from singapore and invest in stocks in Singapore. Need to know what type of stocks you want? Good dividends or stable stocks. I like to get Bank shares like DBS, OCBC, UOB and buy SIA , SPH shares for dividend.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Everyone,

I think as an investor , you make money when the market is down and up. If you do not invest during the down turn, I think you will miss out the best opportunity. I know of a friend who does not invest thinking that the market is bad at the moment.  My take is if you cannot invest in both good and bad times , I think you would not invest any time any way .

    Just my 2 cents worth

    Hi there,

If you don’t mind lugging around a pda which can run an excel spreedsheet which can do the calculation for you.

There are a few in the market but currently I am using a lifedrive (under palm one) running the excel spread sheet . I placed all the required formula into the respective cell and then quickly do the required calculations on the spread sheet.

There are several pda including treo by palm, or pocket pc. I suggest you try several spreadsheet on them and then evaluate base on simplicity of use. I am quite comfortable with the palm system that is why I bought it and use it for my calculations. The only thing is you have to be able to see the small screen while manually typing the formulas into the pda.

    Regards

    Hi there,

Have you ever tried taking lines of credits to pay for the deposit or part of the mortgage loan? If you were to do that you might be able to scrape through to be able to get a lower mortgage on it. But the downside is , the lines of credit would be having higher interest rates on them.
