Can anyone please point me in the right direction for finding out, either via the internet or recommended books, the past and present growth of areas in order to assess if it would suit my needs for my first investment.

I have been scrolling through some of the posts and noticed that there are some very positive comments which is fantastic for us new bees because starting out on getting a portfolio is something that has interested me for a long time.

To be able to gain a little more insight from people who have a lot more knowledge and understanding is comforting and helps with my own research.
