    Hi friends,

We have gone live with the first stage of a revamp of the website. It is just the PC version at this time while we get our elements right, with the mobile version to follow. I welcome any feedback about what you like, what you don’t and ideas for what we could do better.

    Thanks in advance,

    – Steve

    Hi Steve,

I’ve just been checking this out.
I agree with Tim, I think the new design is easy to follow, which is great.
My further thoughts on possible improvements are:
    1. The pages to see are text heavy and lacking any images or pictures. Personally, I would be more attracted a website with pictures.
    2. The pages were also quite slow to load. I don’t know if this can be improved but would make for a better user experience if they can load more quickly. It’s taking 4-15 seconds for pages to load (the homepage and ‘start here’ were the slowest, if that helps). Other website seem to load instantly on my Mac, using the same browser, as a comparison.
    3. On the homepage, the first thing I see is the ‘Quick Links’ section, but I feel that that position might be better utilised for something more important (like an announcement of an event, or a short blurb about the website). I’d personally move the ‘Quick links’ to the right where it is easy to find, but not the first thing you see.
Just my thoughts, hope this is of some value.

    regards, Mark
