Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on recommended seminars or conference type events in Melbourne regarding investing?
I loved Steve”s millionaire mega Conference and all its guest speakers… Unfurtunately I learned that I am still a while away from being able to invest properly and unfurtunately don’t have enough disposable funds to enrol in Steves “apprentice” program.
Every time I find something that seems interesting people tell me be careful it’s a scam etc.
So for this reason I thought I would ask you guys. The forum members who I trust as I have not yet been pointed in the wrong direction.

Any type of investing is fine too… I have an open mind and willing to learn from anyone who’s has actually done it.

just participate in the forums. there is also another one. (www.propertychat.com.au) and they post a lot of adhoc meetups organized by forums members. which area are you in?

Plenty of great minds in these groups – most cities have groups of likeminded people meeting up semi regularly. There’s a group of investors in Adelaide who meetup once a month here, I believe theres also some fairly regular ones in Melbourne.

As Corey mentioned, we do meetup frequently here in Melbourne. One in the East and one in the West once a month.

I wouldn’t call myself an investor yet. I am still in the infant stage of learning as much as I can.

You will see there is a meeting planned at Bulleen for next week if you wanted to check it out…. Go to the link and check out each thread – there are PAGES of these, and you will get an idea of just when such meetings are held.
