I am a bit of a self-confessed health freak and use a variety of different natural health products and supplements depending on what my goal is… so it could be to clean the blood… detox… boost brain strength… etc… the more I look into these subjects that interest me… the more I find that I simply would of not known about it if I didn’t delve deeper into this magickal world of health and wellness :)

I was wondering who else here uses supplements to better their health? And where do you buy them from?

I personally found this great deal –> http://healthadvocate.net.au/iherb-coupon-code/

At the moment I am using raw cacao for the plethora of health benefits it provides (in my smoothies) and a bunch of supplements to decalcify my pineal gland and open my 3rd eye more and more!

It could be but nonetheless it’s a good topic. It’s important to discuss supplements that can help us keep on top of our game. Property investing is not that easy.

I personally have been taking garlic pills for the last 3 years and since then haven’t gotten a cold or flue. Must be doing something.

All this talk of spam is making me hungry. Anyone tried spam and pea soup. It’s too die for.

Exercise, a balanced diet & drink plenty of water, that will do more than any supplement. The only supplement I recommend is scotch & dry with a cigar every now an then

that’s awesome… there are people out there that get sick all the time so you’re doing well… i’m guessing like someone else posted that you also eat well and possibly live a fairly active life… supplements alone won’t keep you healthy :)

what about brain boosting supplements and nootropics or even stress relief supplements? do any of you use such things to be more productive or anything like that? i’ve heard of people using narcolepsy drugs as nootropics to be more productive… although i imagine natural supplements would be a better option if you are going to go down that route?

I used creatine monohydrate when playing Aussie Rules. I took it with glucose powder to help it absorb (I think it just needed any carb). It didn’t agree with my stomach after using it for a couple of months so I only used it at the start of the pre-season and then again at the middle/end of the season when things had settled down for a while. I felt it made a big difference in my recovery after strenuous excercise and it also increased my ability to take on training loads.

Most vitamins and nutrients can be gained by a healthy balanced diet so i don’t go into that side of things too much.

And I’m with some of the guys above, coffee during the days and a beer or wine at night. On odd occasions a nice scotch with a cigar and some good company seems to bring about a bit of rejuvination and improvement to my sanity.
