    Hi,

I’m wondering if anyone can explain whether the following “strategies” work for property asset protection:

    1) Purchasing property under a Discretionary Trust, or

    2) Dominique Grubisa’s strategy – I believe it is related to the Vestey Trust system.

As way of context; at one of Dominique’s recent seminars, she suggested that the Discretionary Trust system doesn’t provide adequate asset protection and that her method could protect all existing assets without incurring stamp duty. I have little to no knowledge on asset protection so was wondering if someone with legal knowledge / experience could help me out.

    Thanks,

    Phil
