I currently have a house being rented out on a block of land about 900sqm. I am in the process of getting started with the drawings, design for the planned subdivision of my property so I can build a unit at the back. I was thinking whether to have my company as the project manager of the project or my name. Not sure if it makes a lot of difference.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you,

    Ren

Most clients I deal with use a project management  entity that has no assets to do the development.  If you are getting builders to do it all then much less likely you would do that then if you were actually managing subbies etc.

    You should get specific advice.
