Hi everyone. Just the one question. I have been told that its better to buy a forward sloping block rather than a backwards sloping one because of the water drainage situation. I understand that once a block is developed detention pits would be built to maintain the same water discharge rate of a single dwelling. I dont understand why you couldnt do that on a backwards sloping block, I was told you would need permission from your neighbour (buy an easment) to drain a larger volume of water through their block. If the block was clear and you where building a single dwelling you wouldnt need an easement so why so if your building more than one dwelling. Thanks to anyone who has had any experience with this.
