I attended the Tax Deed/Lien Seminar in Melb – May 2009. My experience in purchasing Deeds in the USA is not as straight forward as it was presented and there many hurdles/variations with various County regulations and bidding at these Deed Auctions is not only plentiful, but to the point where the properties go for 70% to 90% of the assessed value. Very frustrating when a lot of time (late nights and early mornings) and money has been spent on researching Tax Deeds and the success rate is minimal at best. I would be very interested to hear from other attendees, who are members of the Property Investing Group Forum, their success rate with USA Tax Deed purchases over the past year?
