    Hi Everyone,

In Dec 09 i purchased an IP in South Penrith and i just want to get your opinions on Penrith's potential for the future.
I think Penrith is a great area it has everything and is growing fast a decade ago there was padocks and vacant blocks everywhere and now there are apartment blocks and townhouses where those padocks once were.

IT has the M4 and great Western Highway and is close to the M7 (and there has been talk of the linking Werrington bypass for yrs) it has a train station (that needs to be upgraded) and if the governemnt can pull its finger out and fix the trains then the city/ Parramatta will be even closer.

It has the Beautiful Nepean river and is at the foot of the Blue Mountains and then there is Panthers which is massive and getting bigger.

Where i brought in South Penrith reminds me alot of what North Parramatta was 10-20 yrs ago with alot of older housing department houses, Im hoping Penrith will grow strongly in the future.

What are your thought on Penrith?

The state government has to look into this area as well. Unless proper fund is allocated for South Penrith, less infrastructural advancement is possible. Having said that, privet sector should also come in to effect. With a combination of these two, Penrith will grow is a steady pace for sure. All the best.

    Dear Blissy,

I’m with you on this and believe that Penrith and the St Marys area has lots of bargains. These suburbs are old like West Pymble, turramurra, warrawee etc older suburbs also have larger lots that can accommodate duplexes … Look for walk to rail, shops and bus … good luck your thinking is on line …

Here is a new development happening in Penrith straight across the road from Penrith Stadium http://penrith-press.whereilive.com.au/news/story/450m-breath-of-life/
This will be massive for Penrith its worth an estimated $450 million the vacant block of land is huge.
There are also plans for a giant in land beach at a massive new development at Castlereagh 5kms from Penrith.
