Hi I posted this question yesterday, but can't seem to find it on the forum, so I am posting it again, apologies if it is already up here somewhere.

I would like any information from people who have bought and relocated houses. I understand that it will cost approximately $40,000 to move from one town to another, however I was wondering what other costs such as planning or building applications, site costs and service connection fees to expect.

Also anyone thats got information good or bad on the pros and cons of putting the house back together once relocated.

    many thanks in advance

    Sonya

You will need to allow for re stumping, plumbing and electricity reconnection, stairs and decks and the usual council fees.

By the way we currently have a nice Queenslander that need to be moved from Banyo if anyone is interested. It has nice VJ's on walls and ceiling and a tin roof.
