My name is Rick Heaton and I am a newbie to this community.
I am a licensed builder based in Queensland who has spent the last several years assisting owner builders to not only get their permits but to really understand the process of managing a small construction project.
Having a training background, I have written many articles on the subject and developed high end courses that have been well received by the owner builder community.
My latest efforts include a blog which is aimed specifically at owner building/owner renovating and providing valuable information to anyone thinking of going down this path.
I look forward to being an active member of this forum and hopefully giving some of you the benefit of my experience in these areas.
