    Hi team,

It's not a radical change, but we have done some minor remodelling to the homepage (http://www.propertyinvesting.com)!  What do you think?

    Cheers,

    Hi Steve

It looks good.  But of course we miss your smiling face ;-)

Nice dark blue! I prefer that to that couple picture that was there! The best change to this web site recently from a practical users point of view has been the 'Active Topics' in the forum drop down menu how it brings up a few of the active topics all in one list from the different forums…brilliant!

In the old original PropertyInvesting.com the forum notifications used to include the title of the thread when it arrives in the email box this is good to use the email box as a filing system for threads but any thread is rather hard to find now as they all arrive titled the same.

I preferred the function where you could run the cursor over the original post of the thread and the little box opened up to show you what the content was.
It would be good to have that back.
Also, as a suggestion Steve; renew the news and ads for the different products and seminars etc more frequently. it starts to look a bit stale when the news is a few weeks old on the homepage. or, better still, have a news topic.
    Otherwise it is good.

That still does that using the browser I have got Firefox or IE.

    You're right J;
I was talking about the home page actually; where it shows just the latest active/hot topics.
I noticed when I went into the separate forums it still allowed me to do that.
This is one extra click – I'm too lazy.

    Thanks for your feedback guys.

I will chat to Goldie about the fuctionality on the home page re: mouseover. I will also chase up whether we can get the thread topic in the email.

I agree about the ads and the news items.  I tend to do the news updates when time permits. I will try to get to it every other day.

We have a lot of work going on in the background for the site.  There are some big, big improvements a few months away.

    Thanks again!

I thought I noticed a shift in focus away from Steve himself on the site last week after, watching his latest book presentation.

Also, where did all your blogs go? The one that stood out for me was your affirmation that another property boom was happening. You know the one!………….The house that someone paid more than the asking price, and the billboard that he bought.

I agree that the news items could be updated more often. But the new look is great.
