    Hi

The ATO puts out statistics each year, and the 2004 booklet is available for download at:
    http://www.ato.gov.au/content/downloads/70906_2004TAXSTATS.pdf

Do you know how many trusts there are in Australia?

In 2003–04, 501,860 trusts lodged returns and
reported total business income of $201.3 billion.

In 2003–04 nearly 11.0 million personal taxpayers
    (individuals) lodged returns.

In 2003–04, 684,009 companies lodged returns and
disclosed $35.4 billion in total net tax liability.

We can see that Trusts had a much higher income than businesses.
The figures are interesting and are further broken down and analysed in the booklet. The PDF file is large, so it may be better to look at individual files here: http://www.ato.gov.au/businesses/content.asp?doc=/content/70906.htm&page=36&H16
