If I am intending to wrap a property to a new buyer, I understand that although I am not technically providing credit, it is a good idea (in VIC) to register as a credit provider.

Does anyone know of a channel through which to do this?

Does anyone have any further comment on this subject?

    Thanks

    Hi Chris
    Go to http://www.legalonline.vic.gov.au
Click on Money Matters on the left
    then choose Credit
then Credit – Consumer and Business Affairs Victoria
on the next page it explains about credit, you can download a pdf form at the bottom which you use to apply to be recognised as a credit provider (doesn’t cost you anything)
and under legislation you can also click on Consumer Credit (Victoria) Act 1995 which opens up the act and you can print it out.

    Keep smiling
