What is the level of activity amoung PI.com members in terms of purchasing and or making portfolio adjustments

very curious to know how many of us have made a purchase in the last 90 days in Australia – could be a straight buy – or an option but has to be something positive toward their wealth creation goals. Maybe you have added an extra room to a house or something else creative – what are people doing to improve the portfolio right now?

I am currently in talks to halve my portfolio exactly, but she wants more than her fair share considering that it comes from my hard work.

Families breaking up is just so sad! Hope you get through it OK!!!

Yes we bought an investment property in last 90 days, had it renovated and put it back on the market today!!!

If I could upload pictures I would. It looks fantastic!!! Even the old owners came to have a look and they couldn’t recognise it :)

    Hi all

My first reno settled friday (show me the money!!!) , I settle my next purchase 4/11 hope to have it reno’ed and back on the market jan 07. My third one (which was actually purchased 1st , had a long settlement) it has a tenant and I will reno it march / april next year (holding this one at least 12 month, to reduce tax)

I started buying, reno ,selling apartments in May 06 so I am very active, by the way I am in Perth. There was a very good write up on apartments in todays paper.[biggrin]

    Hi All,
    I purchased a 4 x 2 about 60 days ago.
    Price: $330000
    Rent: $400.00 per week

Being about 5 years old, it’s nearly cash natural after depreciation.

We have bought 2 in the last 90 days. Both settled the same day.

1.Minor reno, tenant moved in 2 weeks after setlling, plans already submitted to Council to build a duplex at the rear.

2.Major reno, tenants moved in 4 weeks after settling, working on plans to build another free standing house plus a duplex at the rear. This buy consisted of two adjacent blocks with a house at the front of one.

Think all that will keep us busy for quite some time!
