    Hi,

I feel I need to apologise.

The last round of upgrades to the site have not been as successful as I would have liked. Things are now running slower than before, and people seem to have issues with navigation.

So, today I commissioned a completely new website to be devised. This is a long-term project, however, it is something that will be radically different to the current site.

My #1 goal is to build a website for property investors that fosters a spirit of sharing and community. I am totally committed to this.

    Regards,

    Steve McKnight

    GR,

It may seem strange, but on reflection I would agree with you in respect to the ads. If I was posting information on a site, or my opinion, then I would not want the words in my post to be seen as endorsing someone’s good or service without my express opinion.

I plan to disable the feature in the near future. There are more effective and less invasive ways to market.

I respect your opinion and thank you for it.

    Regards,

    Steve McKnight

    hi steve
I would be the last person to say don’t promote your business
as I am all for business and yes there are ways to get your message across.
I think that most people here know or should know that there is no such thing as a free lunch and the only way that the wheels of business move are that people make business work.
I for one do enjoy coming here and giving my opinion due to my business commitments it has been restricted but will help out were possible.
without people like yourself giving a forum for new people to learn then the banguru’s and the westpoints of this world do prosper and they do so because people don’t understand a finance and b what they are doing.
these forums in what ever form they take do give people information. and armed with that information they can make an informed choice.
so if they do or don’t get involved.
they do get information from your site for that I think that you should be give the respect you deserve.
it is easy for people to say that there alot of things wrong on this little planet of ours but alot harder it seems to say thank you for the effort you put in to doing a job.
As you know I call a spade a spade and hence my thank you in advance for the work you have done.
a site that has this many members and the information( even thou alot is repeat questions but that happens) is given by a very large cross section of the community is doing something right.

    here to help
If you want to get involved in some of the projects I’m involved in email to [email protected]

Here Here! (or is that Hear Hear? – Look here or Hear me)

Finding this site was like finding the mother load. Most members in this community are giving and happily share both their knowledge and (sometimes embarrassing) experiences, and that’s just great!

I have found knowledge, motivation and confidence from those on this site and we have you and your team to thank for that Steve. Your personal ethical values show through and are reflected by most entries.

GR – I always look for your entries as they are informative, blunt, and to the point (However, I may not always understand them [wink])

    Well said BeauMonde.

Steve, I admire your commitment. I read with interest people generouly sharing their experiences in reaching for financial freedom from a reputable website. Add a freedom of speech with a dose of due diligence make it so potent.

Only regret not finding it sooner. So, thank you for making the learning process smoother with great resources and a forum for backup when we hit hurdles.

    Cheers and well done

    Hello Steve

I love this site. So much useful information is being shared so generously.

Please don’t change the format of the forum too much. I like the soft colour schemes and the general form of the threads.

Thank you for providing this venue. [smiling]

    Elka
