Hi – have just bought investment detective – may have some basic questions but I do not seem able to access the calculators for working out stamp duty etc while in the wizard.
    1. Can you use them in the wizard or do you have to calculate all of this before you begin?
    2. How do you work out a depreciation figure for the wizard?
3.How do you work out annaul appreciation – I was thinking to use CPI – any other ideas?

    Thanks for the help

    Hi

The calculators are all available in the wizard.
If you’re having trouble accessing them, it may be the OS, could you let me know which operating system you are running ID on?

The depreciation figure is the amount by which the capital items can be depreciated for the year. This is the cost to the owner.

The amount of appreciation will be what is relevent for the local market. You will need to do your research on this one.
