G’day peoples… anyone know of a good plumber in Perth (northern suburbs)?

I just got a quote of $480 from Alinta gas to connect gas to a property I’m renovating and to install 1 bayonet in the living room.

Was going to ring around a few plumbers to compare prices…

    cheers:)

    Hi waynel2
Is this for Cylinder LPG gas or Piped Natural Gas. I connected Piped Natural gas from the street to my property in Sydney and AGL charged me $495. The plumber charged me a extra $1050 to plumb the pipe to the gas stove, Gas water heater and a point on the floor for gas heater. The house is a fibro with sub floor. Hope this helps.

    hi arungounder,

Yes, it’s piped natural gas – from the street to the property.

Alinta gas said they would pay for the first 20m free from the mains to my property – though i would then have to pay for the meter box and the bayonet to be installed.

    Rgds
