    o.k a question
    4 units for sale 175k – 185k asking price.
    4 hrs away from home in good area .small town but grown over last yr.
    so if got for 180k
    thats only 45k each
    could rent for 90 per week but don’t know what need doing.
    would need to get a loan of 162k with a 18 k deposit.
    this would just about take all avail cash.

    we do have 40k in equity

    would it be better to use the equity with a smaller deposit?

    we would need to go and have a look i know but in general what are your thoughts
    it fits the 11 sec rule![:D]

    If it does check out, I would put down the cash you have so that you can keep the property as a stand alone. If you need to, or you can be doing it at the same time, refinance your PPOR/IP that has the equity so it is available to you for your next deal.
