Is there a simple way to obtain another suburbs local newspaper? Is it simply a case of approaching my own newsagent and requesting he gets it in OR is it more complicated?
    Could someone enlighten me…….thank you.[:D]

    Hi bjb007,

I subscribe to a number of local newspapers which come in the mail… generally you need to approach the publisher for a subscription. If you are looking in Sydney then http://www.cumberlandnewspapergroup.com.au/ and http://www.fcnonline.com.au/fcnnetwork.asp?sydney have a list, and http://www.ruralpresssales.com.au/ seems to have a lot of country newspapers.

I doubt your local newsagency could arrange it, but I guess there’s no harm in trying (in fact I would like to hear the result)

    Hope this helps,

    -Nick

    hi bjb

i used to get the millicent (SA) papers and as nick said i went through the local publisher. or you could ask your local agent to get it in for you. i think its a great idea to get the papers for areas on your hot list.

When I was looking to invest in Port Macquarie a few years ago one of the local real estate agents used to send me the real estate section every month for my info – also you might find them on line if you know the name of the local paper. HG
