    Hi,

    Can anyone give me advice on purchasing a duplex, and would this be better than purhasing a house for the same price?

    I would always go for a house personaly, but I guess the house would be further away from the CBD if your looking at the same cost.

    You need to go out at look at both options and find one of each and then compare them. This way you would have all the information to make a more definate descision.
