    Hi Guys,

    I was hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I attended Steve’s market update online and was wondering where I can get the data for unemployement, housing finance commitments etc for Australian capital city’s. I want to find this data so I can create a spread sheet and update it each month to keep track of trends. I have looked all over the ABS website and I can’t find data for capital cities, only states. So I can find the data for Qld but not for Brisbane. I know Steve said he’d post the data online each month which is great but I’d like to to the reasearch myself so I can learn it for myself.

    Any help wold be much appreciated!

    Hi and welcome aboard :-)

    Give the ABS a buzz and see if someone there can point you in the right direction.

    If they have data for states – I wouldn’t be surprised if they had it for capital cities.
