We are happy for people to advertise their mortgage services, but only as a signature to genuine forum posts. Posts alerting members to loan products etc. that are not of a general nature will be probably be considered advertising and deleted.
Anz Bank puts interest rates up and breaks away from the RBA

Well they threaten it and now it has come true.

ANZ today announced it will increase interest rates for variable rate mortgages and small business lending by 0.06%pa.

This is the first time the bank has moved to increase its rates independently of the RBA’s cash rate since it announced its split with the central bank’s pricing in December last year.

SMSF loans

Hi all,

I'm about to look into getting a SMSF loan to buy property. When I looked a year ago I think the best loans were through St George (at least in terms of available LVR)...

Anyone had a look around recently?

Any advice much welcomed!

Cheers

Pete

Finance on a block of 6 units on one title with residentail rates

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a lender that will consider a block of 6 units on the one title and lend at residential rates?
Most of the big banks consider this a commercial transaction and offer inflated rates. The units are in metro South Australia.

Who will loan to SMSF to borrow for property at 40% LVR?

I have a newly formed SMSF and want to borrow to purchase a commercial property at approx 40%LVR. ( Value $350k, already have $200k deposit)

Commonwealth bank wants me to pay $3300 to see their financial advisor before I can even apply for their super product, called SuperGear. I don't mind paying good money for good advice but not when I already know what I want.

I beg the question, is it time to fix?

RBA keeping rates on hold and talk of banks increasing outside of the RBA decisons.

UBank have a 3 year 5.98% package that looks pretty good.
