I am just studying up on using a call option to control a residential block whilst undertaking the subdivision process. I understand there is huge amounts of work in getting one off the ground however it really interests me. I worked through much of the old posts relating to the subject on here.

Wrapping and Lease options

I have been looking into various funding strategies for investing in the USA as now seems to be a good time to buy, but my cash on hand for a deposit is slim right now.

My question to those in the industry is, would purchasing a property using wrapping (rent to own really) work if there was an option to sub-let in the agreement. eg: i enter into a rent to buy agreement then rent the place on the market to cover my costs with the deal eventually paying for itself.

Would this work? would anyone agree to it ? any pitfalls ? any other interesting tips to further improve on this idea ?

I'd be interested to hear what people think.

Hello,
I was left 500k of assets in property and cash and i need the money to work for me the best way possible I have a property that is currently for sale and it is on the market for 399k and i have 200k in term deposit. I am past working age (retired) and I would appreciate others opinions on best ways to invest in property i do not want to invest in stocks or investmenmts down that way as i have had bad experience with that in the past.
