We are looking at buying a property in cairns as an investment property but the stamp duty for investment properties is high and alot lower if we live in it for some time. We live and work in the NT so wondering if any one has any ideas how to get around the high stamp duty. we are not first home owners so will only be for the stamp duty aspect.
do you know what the minimum time of occupancy is before we can start renting it
