Huge 'thank you' to Ed Chan!NOVO [12 Posts] Yesterday my husband and I had a consultation over the phone with Ed Chan. The consultation (known as a 'Finanical Health Check') was the result of a post on Chan and Naylor Accountants on this forum. In that one phone call (which lasted nearly 1.5 hours), Ed gave us more insight , knowledge and direction than we've had over the last six years from our current accountant. He was totally upfront and genuine with us and gave us his honest opinion on what we need to do in the current housing market given our current situation. We are working our assets to the max and there is little we can extract from our properties (maybe $20K at best). However, in the course of a phone call, Ed came up with a way we can access at least $8K of negative gearing which is currently quarantined in our family trust. And that's just one of the suggestions he came up with. He also spoke at length about various ways our property investments can be structured, based on what the final goal of each investment is. Out of the generosity of his heart, Ed provided the consultation free of charge. So to Ed, a huge, enormous, gigantic THANK YOU! And....with the opening of your Central Coast office (and Newcastle office in the near future), we can finally give our accountant the flick! We look forward to meeting you Ed at a seminar somewhere.
Warm regards,
Anne & Brett |
