Hey Guys,
Just wondering if there are many of you our there, guess aged 18-30. I am really keen to find out more about investing,
so in saying that would be really keen in forming a young investors club. Someplace where we could discuss our current investments, where we think are good areas to invest in for growth etc
Any one else up for this?
or maybe someone out there is already about of one?

Please fill me in! :-)

Hi Guys,

I like the sound of a Young Investors Club. I’m 26 and brought my first property in December last year and am now looking for another investment property to purchase over the next 12 months. I invest in the share market also and enjoy investing, talking about business opportunities and thinking up creative investments. I’m aiming to be set up by the time I’m 40 so I can live off my investments and enjoy life.

I live in Sydney and would be happy to travel within Sydney to meet up with like minded people.

Cheers,

Dan (aka Beachesboy)

Hey this sounds great, Im 24 and from Brissie, have one property and recently put a contract on a second one.

It will be great to see what the young investors club think.

I am interested in maybe buying land and building house or buy land and subdivide as my next project. Start small and go from there.

Hi there everyone,

It's great to see a great buch of like minded young investors. I am 29 with 11 properties. Like most of you, I have read various books on cashflow positive investments and investing in properties.

What I have found to be the best asset all of you could have is to have the mentality that a deal of a lifetime will come into your grasp every week. Just open your eyes and ears that they'll just pop up in front of you.

At this stage my partner and I can't get our hands on enough borrowings to buy the properties!

We have focused on HOUSES rather than apartments and all have to be with 10 minutes drive of a beach, in other words, coastal suburbs. It doesn't have to be beach front, but as close as you can get or afford.

Happy hunting,

PrakmanMedieval

Hey guys,

This is my first post on the site. A young investors club sounds great. I'm eager to find other people in Melbourne that I can discuss property and investing with. Without talking about what I read or hear, it makes it harder to stay in my mind. meeting up with others like myself would be a great step forward.

I'm in!

My email is crystalleez@hotmail.com if your reading this and in Melbourne.

Looks like lots of interest for a great idea. But is that what's it's destined to be - just an idea that goes no where.

One of you probably needs to coordinate a "group" and start your own 'membership' around the country where you can stay in touch with each other, exchange info and compare notes on resources (good books, tools, etc.) and on-the-ground property info (from your different locations).

This sounds like an awesome idea!

I think whoever said it was right, there needs to be some sort on online thing. Seeing as we are all from far reaching parts of the country, it is going to be very hard to network.

I have some ideas of how it could work, and i would love to organise this, but is there the interest for it? The biggest thing it would have for all you guys is a kind of chat room, and there would need to be a 'director' of sorts for each state, and it would be partly up to that person to choose dates, locations etc to meet. There could be a meeting group for each state, and then there could be notes posted on the site about what happened at that meeting for people who couldnt make it.
There needs to be a focal point from which the whole thing could operate from, and i would be happy to organise that, how do the rest of you feel?
Thumbs Up
