Hi all, i'm new to this positive gearing seen and ihave just finished reading steves book, 0-130 properties in 3.5 years.
Very interested in starting and just wanted to get a few opinions to see if you are happy with positive gearing and wanted to ask if Serviced apartments qualified as a positively geared property

Watch out for serviced apartments. There can be various problems such as:
- high management fees
- low growth
- difficult to get finance
- difficult to sell.

Make sure you do your homework thoroughly on one of these.

You will find with servicesd apartments that in many cases you will only get finance for 60-70%. Also it is unlikely that there will be any capital growth.
