Unsolicited/Inappropriate Private Messages

I have received a private message from a user that is spam.  The user appears to be overseas and requests an email to be sent to a private email address, so they can send their picture.  They also refer to long distance love.  Needless to say I have not responded, but is there a protocol for reporting these types of unsolicited/unwelcome messages and for lodging a complaint against the user?  Thanks for your help.

Hi Angela,

Could you provide more details please.  Perhaps you are speaking about mum123?  If so I believe they have been blocked.

If there are other active spammers it's appropriate to advise through this forum.

Thanks for the reply.  It was mum123 and the message was sent to me on 30 April 2010, so they may have been blocked after this date.  I have sent you a PM with all the details.  I also received a PM from Jaffasoft in response to this post and have provided full details of the message and he was going to look into it.  Hopefully this person is already long gone from the forum.  Thanks for your help.

Further to my comment above, i just went to send you a PM and I had a reply from Jaffasoft.  The user mum123 was investigated the other day and they have been blocked.  So all good.  Thanks to you both for the feedback.

I also got the same private message ftom united u22. Dodgy. I reported the user as suspect.
