Discussions concerning Jenman

Hi,

Just a short note to say that in future, posts that denegrate Neil Jenman will be immediately removed.

In short, while Neil sees fit to unfairly attack people's character to promote his business, I won't allow the same to happen here for risk of being on the same low footing.

As such, I request that we limit discussion to the merit of his property techniques (as opposed to his character) and whether or not Jenman agents are able to provide the service they state they can.

This response is not as a result of a legal letter, it is simply a choice to avoid any sort of personal jibe about anyone.

Whilst I can understand your approach, I can't necessarily agree with it.....

I think the technical term is "head in the sand".......

The person in question is simply way out of line.... and needs to be shown as such.... ignoring him will not work......

OK, no more about Jenman on this forum, unfortunately he does not have the same respect for you or for anyone else who does wraps!!!!

You make money selling wraps which to him is unethical, he makes money selling controversy, THAT is his money making strategy,

HE SELLS CONTROVERSY

How could you discuss his strategies logically without getting angry!!!!

I would rather not discuss him at all, its a waste of time and I would rather focus on buying the next property (and wrapping it!!!!)

Neil has his views and I may not agree with them and have had a couple of chats with him on them he still happens to be a friend of mine. and because you are a wrapper and he doesn't like wrapping doesn't mean that you don't talk about his idea's.
I think( and I'm not going to put words in steve"s mouth)there is a long distance between his views and him personally I debate his views and they are not on the same line as my own.
but I have the view that.
I may not agree with what you say but i'll fight to the death for your right to say it.( not sure of the president that quoted this)but it is correct.
When you attack the pigieon not the message,nothing has change the message just the sender finds a different way of transportation.
so by all means give your view for me, as the more the merrior but I don't think neil will change his opinion either( and I wouldn't put words in his mouth either)

The best way to find out the difference is relatively easy go to neils site and ask him the same question that you have posted.
You will get heaps of information go thru it and then read some of the treads on this site on the subjects he tells you and then make up your own mind as an informed investor.
I look at this topic from the side lines as i'm not a wrapper and I don't mind wrapping as it seems to fill a market which I wouldn't get involved in but everyone has there vehicle and wrapping is one of those vehicle.
If I was to give you an example it would be
Dr.X,pelican and TMA in the commordore, neil in the ford at bathurst 5000 and me in the pits with the dodge viper and guessing which will get to being self funded by 65 the race is on.
I'll take the dodge viper and my wheels are already smoking and I'm half way out of the pits not sure how far down the track are the others and not sure if the others are in front or behind.
all I know is mine is a finely tuned, heavyily weighted, highly fuel, investment machine so I have the luxury of watching the falcons and commordore nip and tuck each other.

Yes I agree about mustle cars but the same can be said of stallions and as long as you can handle them correctly are very usefull on the long run.

As for neil well there are alot of people that get paid for there views and or conventions.
You only get invited if you have a interesting past or a controversial future and monies money.
remember kile( I think i've spelt his name wrong) on 2dayfm sydney only is on the radio because he hates everyone and everything and now he's on australian idol why because he's controversial.
I take most of these types with a pinch of salt and enjoy some of there views.

Good point at what stage is it a slir and at what point is it information on the way a business is running.
Remember some business don't run in the same race as the rest of us and nor do they comform to the same rules.
Some times and this I do agree with Neil you must do whatever is with your rules to expose the people who are bottom feeding and are outside your rules.
It is very hard.
As this is a bullitin board you must be very carefull in what you say and write.
One other thing to also remember is we have a legal system in Australia( and it doesn't look like changing for some time)not a justice system and the two are far apart ( I may be in disagreement with our lawyer friends)
If you ever go to court and I go very often for a number of reasons you will find this out very quickly.
What you see as justice may be define very different in law.
Hence I would attack the idea and not the company or person and also give why you attack it and what you think is better, don't just attack to attack.

would I get in trouble if I posted up one of Jenmans emails to me? I use the emails to entertain my friends when we have a dinner party, they really are very funny!!

He full on attacks ME in the emails for being an investor and not working in a job!

This was after I told him that I actually did get something out of all the seminars and gurus that he puts down and the only thing that is a scam is working in a job.

He thinks no one should be in business except him.

Real estate agencies should not exist except if they pay franchise fees to Neil Jenman

The only person that investors should take advice from is him

Respond to some of the things he writes about other people and he is sure to respond back within 24 hours and abuse you.

And it's published on his website, so there would be no point in anyone suggesting it be "taken to the media"- it's already there for anyone to see.

Unfortunately, Steve, your post saying posts that degenrate Neil Jenman will be removed have, predictably, led to people degenerating Neil Jenman.

As for me, I think the guy is a person of high integrity- he's also witheringly funny- refreshing in an industry where people can take themselves so seriously.

Thanks for posting the link to his website, X. Whilst people may criticise him, most people I know read his site- it's good to keep up with what scams are going on. Jenman's site and ASIC's site are always a good read.

The letter certainly invoked a response...

However his site says;

I personally didn't think much of his response to the good Dr...........

I have one of Jenmans books and enjoyed it (Real Estate Mistakes), I also thought his ideas of paying his employees a wage whilst they learn is better than most REA's I encountered..

The only REA I came across in WA that says they were associated with him, doesn't seem to be on his WA List, so cant really say I've met someone who has been through his system?

It makes me larf to see the way some of the people on this forum try to find fault with Jenman. "He's making money from controvesy. He's making money from franchise. Oops, he doesn't have a franchise. He must charge investors. But how? Maybe its from his boo ks."

So, how does he make his money? It's all about money, money, money. Yes it's got to be about money because that's how we think here - right Dr X???

I agree with Kay, Jenman is hilariously funny, but not nearly as funny as watching some of you climb the walls or tear your hair out over him.
